Window Box Studios LLC ("we," "our," or "us") develops educational applications for children. We take your family's privacy seriously — especially when it comes to children. This privacy policy explains what information our apps collect, how it is used, and your rights.
Our apps are designed for children and families. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Apple's App Store Guidelines for Kids Category apps. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Our apps are designed to collect as little data as possible. Specifically:
We do not collect: Names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, photos, videos, audio recordings, location data, contacts, or any other personally identifiable information from users or their children.
Local data only: Practice session scores and progress data (such as how many problems were answered correctly) are stored locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party. If you delete the app, this data is permanently erased.
Advertising: Our free apps display ads provided by Google AdMob. These ads are configured to comply with COPPA and Apple's Kids Category requirements. We use Google's child-directed ad settings, which means ads are not behaviorally targeted and no personal data is used for ad personalization. Ads are contextual only. Users may purchase an in-app upgrade to remove all advertising.
In-App Purchases: Our apps offer a one-time in-app purchase to remove ads. This transaction is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store any payment information.
Our apps use the following third-party services:
Google AdMob: Used to display contextual advertisements. Configured with child-directed treatment enabled. Google's privacy policy can be found at policies.google.com/privacy.
Apple App Store: Used for app distribution and in-app purchase processing. Apple's privacy policy can be found at apple.com/legal/privacy.
We do not use any analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, or other third-party tracking services in our apps.
We do not sell, trade, or share any user data with third parties. Period.
All user data (practice scores and progress) is stored locally on the device only. We do not maintain any servers or databases that store user information. Deleting the app removes all associated data permanently.
Since we do not collect personal information from children, there is no personal data for us to provide, modify, or delete. All practice data is stored locally on your device and can be removed by deleting the app.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
